We were sitting on the above floor, but despite the wave of heat we've been thru (36-37 degrees) when we came inside it was pleasant

Cons: As an est-European we have some strict rules regarding cleanliness. We were staying for 7 days and paid more than €700 (in this country you can buy a car for that money) and had to stay with the same bed sheets. Imagine 7 nights sleeping in the same sheets with heat exceeding 36-37 degrees on day and 30 degrees on night (and believe me, 37 degrees on this island with that humidity feels like 47).
They are bringing you "fresh" towels (they are properly washed but full of stains) every 3 days, and you have to ask for them...
maybe is a different culture in Zakynthos but I have travelled thru a lot of countries by now and it wasn't anywhere like this. If you have sand in your room or the floor is dirty, in the yard you have a broom, so for €700 they don't even bother to clean your room at least once in 3 days.
As for the noise, we were very lucky that for the first 3 days some really quiet lads were sitting on the apartments below, but after that, some brits girls came in and they stayed for drinking and playing with a ball until 3-4 in the morning, singing and making lots of noise.
All in all, if you are lucky enough to don't sit with brits (trust me, the island is full with them and they act like they didn't have a childhood, getting smashed until 9 AM) the location is quiet. If you are over 30 years old I don't think you will like Laganas. This place is horribly dirty, I've seen a lot of rats because garbage is everywhere and the smell is horrible. But the beaches are nice"

"Pros: We loved everything about this villa. Spacious, clean, beautiful and the pool was heated wich made it perfect for the kids to swim. Close to stores and restaurants. Very kind owner and people that work in the villa to clean. Very sweet and welcoming. Our vacation was so great because of this stay.
