"Pros: From the minute we arrived (actually before, as the host, Kleanthis, arranged a taxi to meet us at Pothia) our experience was amazing. Kleanthis greeted us on arrival and kindly left us Kalymnos bread and cake, plus fruit and wine. There were a few basics in the fridge, bottles of water and well stocked cupboards (olive oil, herbs, tea, coffee etc). The house overlooks the beach with far reaching views across the bay. Beautiful sunsets. Private steps lead down to the beach. A good sized kitchen and large sea facing balcony accessible from the kitchen and main bedroom. Large shower with lovely hot water. Shower gel, shampoo and soap all provided. Comfortable lounge seating and English TV. Easy walk to the Telendos ferry and to the main restaurants and shops area. When we left, Kleanthis came to bid us farewell. We felt more like family leaving and not just tourists! We left Pothia with a gift of Kalymnos bread from Kleanthis. Overall a gem on the Aegean - it is comfortable, clean and convenient. Excellent communications from Kleanthis before and during our stay. We will be back. Cons: Leaving." ~Susan
