"Pros: The house is well located with a very nice 15 minutes walk from Hydra port. We found nice Greek sweets on arrival and a cake :) The small port of Kamini is right down the house and even closer you’ll find a playground which came very handy with the children. We also went for a fantastic hike to Klimaki (other side of the island) highly recommended. We will come back, thanks again Christiana.
Cons: Not something that we didn’t like about the house or the island but for family it’s important to note that the streets / paths are not really stroller friendly. It’s recommended to travel with bag packs and baby carrier rather than with luggage and stroller. It’s paved paths and stairs everywhere which of course participate to the beauty of Hydra city. You can also get a donkey to carry your stuff on arrival from the port to the house." ~Thomas
"Pros: Location was fine although you need to be reasonably fit to access the villa
The villa is fitted out well and all kitchen / toilet / shower facilities worked well
Netflix was an added bonus !
Cons: Unfortunately building work using angle grinders was going on nearby , which started very early , and so it was not as quiet as we would have liked" ~Leonard
"Pros: The location and decor.loved and used the slippers as no rug/carpets.
Cons: The heating - but it was a particularly cold stormy week.
There could have been a couple of throws in the living room to use.
Maybe a bedspread for chilly nights ?" ~Sara
"Pros: Amazing villa arranged over several levels with fantastic views over Kamini harbour and surrounding hills from the sun deck which also has a seating area. The villa has absolutely everything you need for a relaxing stay.
Nina our host was superb, professional, welcoming and quick to respond to any queries. As with most of Hydra it is a bit tricky to get to so avoid bringing large or heavy suitcases but so worth it! We would love to return.
Cons: Nothing" ~David
