"Pros: This hotel was exactly what we needed after a very busy period we have had. The facilities are fantastic, the rooms are clean and beautifully decorated, the staff though is what makes the difference in this hotel! We would like to give our congratulations to whoever is hiring these people. They were all beyond wonderful. We felt we were hosted by members of our family. They were all kind, nice, ready to help us with everything we needed, and always with a smile. The food was also wonderful. We would absolutely stay again in this hotel! Cons: The spa was something we were looking forward to use, however the cost is a bit overpriced compared with other spa facilities in the area/other hotels, and when we decided to use this service despite the cost, we had an interesting experience with the spa lady. I was asked to sit on a chair to discuss their availability of the day. As soon as I sat, and while we were discussing potential options, maybe 1 minute later, I was asked to give up my seat to another client who just arrived requesting info for the spa. The lady admitted she had an opening at the time that would work for me, but then she said she would rather go around the hotel's swimming pool to talk with other potential customers at the time we were both able to have my treatment. I reluctantly gave up my seat to the next customer. She asked me to wait until she was done with that client, so we can discuss her availability further, but I found the whole interaction peculiar, so did not use their service. Our understanding is that the spa is not part of the hotel management, rather a separate business hosted by the hotel." ~Tania

"Pros: The house is very comfortable and spacious with the beatifule garden and huge terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped, Wi-Fi is excellent, even for my remote work. There are excellent Taverna and meny groseries in 3 min walking distance. The host Irini is very hospitable. She welcomed us with fresh fruits and wine. She providing us with any information about our vacation. We had a great vacation, and we will definitely visit again. Cons: nothing at all" ~Maria

"Pros: The house is spacious and safe. Two terraces. There is everything you need. There are beaches nearby (100 m) to choose from - less or more organized, supermarket (50 m), tavern (10 m). Several restaurants are nearby (500 m). Further - more. There is a large parking lot near the house. Nearby is a stop for an excursion train and buses. The beaches are suitable for those who like to swim, there are no buoys and boats, the bottom is clean. The house is next to the church, you can watch weddings and holidays from the terrace. A small nice garden hides from the street. You can have breakfast on the terrace. The Internet is quite good. You can work. None of the staff comes. Instructions in correspondence, keys in the box. There is spare linen and towels in each bedroom. You maintain order yourself. We had a great ten days, combining work and rest. We are grateful and recommend! Cons: We had a good and comfortable time! But there are moments that, if they cannot be corrected, are better taken into account. There is almost no silence, if you do not close the windows. Planes overhead constantly until night and from early morning (but there is a break at night!)). But it is 15-20 minutes by car to Heraklion airport. The house is on a street with intensive traffic of cars, tourist buses, motorcycles. Opposite is a hotel, in front of which transport often stops without turning off the engine. In front of the hotel and right in front of the main terrace is a large unpaved parking lot (we used it ourselves). The view from the terrace is of the church, the crossroad, the parking lot and the white wall of the supermarket, which occupies the first line. But from the bedrooms there is a view of the sea, to the east. There is a bathtub in the house, but we could not fill it with water, the drain does not close (possibly to save water..?) After taking a shower or after washing on the east side from under the terrace there is a strong smell of sewage (not for very long). The frying pan is very old, we had to buy one)). There were no dishwasher tablets either (one was not enough)), and there were no tablecloths either. Not a problem, but it would have been convenient (instead of wine and fruit 😉, for which special thanks!) There were definitely more advantages!
