"Pros: The host picked us up from the ferry port, even though our ferry wasn't arriving till late in the evening. He gave us a detailed tour of our apartment, making sure we knew where everything was and how things worked. He even brought us some homemade treats to make us feel welcome, and left us water and local wine in the fridge. The view from the bedroom window was spectacular, it made being outside of town worth it. The owner was very keen to drive us in to the main town when our schedules aligned, which suited us as we were not planning on hiring a vehicle during our short stay. It was around a 15 minute walk from the accommodation to a bus stop for a free bus service in to the town which was very convenient. Cons: You need to be aware that the accommodation is quite out of the way in terms of shops and restaurants and bits like that, but the spectacular view makes up for this!" ~Anonymous

"Pros: The location and view was incredible. Honestly, night or day you had what can only be described as an incredible view. The amenities in the place were second to none - and I have stayed in a lot of places. I was nervous about the airport being so close - I think we saw two planes in the whole 9 day stay. I was also nervous about the few reviews but the place was immaculate. Almost brand new. The host had genuinely thought of everything. All the little touches - I can’t begin to list them. Host was incredibly welcoming and helped as soon as they were needed. We are genuinely so glad we booked although weren’t exactly sure what to expect. I would definitely recommend staying in this place if you are fond of having your own space outside of the town and enjoying spectacular views. We stayed outside day and night eating, drinking, working, phone calls and just being. Air conditioning was great. Kitchen was great. We loved it. If you are debating it, I don’t think you will regret doing it. Cons: The height of the shower was a little low for tall people. This is the only negative I can think of. The island sometimes has the electricity turn off. The apartment had it once or twice in our time there but not enough to notice." ~Conor
