"Pros: The staff went above and beyond mannerly, helpful polite and welcoming. The pool areas kept beautifully as where the gardens borders and planters. The food was lovely fresh tasty and plentiful. Our room was just lovely we were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine and fruit, cleaned perfectly each day and bedding changed regularly, great shower with shower gel shampoo conditioner and body lotions, lovely outdoor furniture and loungers and a fantastic large plunge pool. The fridge stocked with bottles of water daily. Free shuttle service into Plaka and return, and a service to and from the airport (payable to hotel) worth it. The views are spectacular overlooking the beautiful Spinalonga Island that as such history. The lagoon is breathtaking with the mountains shining down on the glimmering water. "Pros: The flat is super spacious, and looks just like in the photos or even better. Perfect for two couples traveling together, gives a lot of privacy and nice area to chill with lovely view of the sea. Beds are very comfortable, with good quality bedding and towels. The owner was very friendly and helpful and communication prior to arrival was very good as well. Flat is perfectly situated for boats to Spinalonga (shuttle type service every half an hour), there are shops nearby with good variety of products from local artists and craftsmen. Also very good quality restaurants within walking distance (from traditional taverns to high end artisan concepts). Most importantly beach ia a stone's throw away. We all had great time and amazing food in the area :) Cons: There are couple of flights of stairs to the flat - so it is not suitable for those with mobility issues. Update in crockery would complete the five stars vibe, we would also appreciate some bigger cups/mugs for tea. But that's just being bit nitpicky ;)" ~Monika
