"Pros: I had a very pleasant stay at Apartment Callas, which a few minor inconveniences couldn't take away from. The apartment itself is spacious and modern and thoughtfully appointed. Going as I did in winter, the many heating units were welcome and more than enough to keep the place warm. It is in a traditional Greek residential building, which like most of them could use sprucing up. But not the apartment itself, which is on the ground floor, making it easy to get in and out. Note that the building is a solid 20 minutes walk from old town, with plenty of pastry and coffee shops on the way to make the travel easier. But also note that street parking and driving in OT, even in off season, is anxiety-inducing as I learned, so best to avoid. I made a lot of trips outside town, so the apartment was an easy jumping off point for my car journeys. Jelena was very kind and accomodating, letting me check in early and offering a late checkout; and answering my questions and offering recommendations. She is very thorough. Cons: A bit of drab, multi-family building, and the immediate area around it is a relatively high-traffic spot, with the sidewalks stuffed with parked cars and bikes, making it difficult to navigate. "Pros: Really well located within walking distance of everything. We didn't have the chance to meet with Dina but she was very helpful over texts and gave us lots of information of things to do. Cons: No fault of Dina but the schools bell next door always rang at random times day and night and that didn't help with our sleeping, but can not fault the apartment or the lovely host" ~Fred
