"Pros: Our agent, Rhea; Discovering Corfu, was so professional and followed through with everything she promised our stay would be. She met us at the house to welcome us and we were joined shortly thereafter by the gracious owner, Matina, bearing freshly baked cake! The house was immaculate, inviting and there was even a freshly planted garden where we were free to avail of the fresh produce. The property has everything you need and just in case we didn't, Matina popped by with fresh moussaka. Heavenly.The house is charming, as is the whole village. The neighbours are warm and welcoming and we would happily return. The house is in the middle of the village and walking distance to amenities such as the market, bakery, church and bus stop. There is a traditional family taverna that has been thriving since the 70's and a delicious seafood restaurant as well. A 5 minute walk brings you to Logas (Sunset) Beach and 20 minutes brings you to Drastis Beach. Beautiful. It is only a 3km walk to Sidari, where greater amenities are on offer should you desire - great Chinese Food restaurant! - a bus can take you there as well. There is no need to leave the village at all to avail of all the many perks a Greek island has to offer, on your doorstep. Cons: I wish our Greek had been better so we could have communicated to Matina and the neighbours just how much we appreciated them, without Google translate.
