Magical location, in the heart of Corfos with access to all parts of island, every detail of the room crafted carefully and lovingly by the beautiful hosts. The villa is a hidden gem, with a lush garden, century old trees and an oasis to wake up to every morning. Every detail of the room is designed with loving thought for your experience with towels, aircon, complimentary mosquito repelants, beers, water and even personalized maps to visit every corner of this beautiful island Corfos.
The most beautiful part, is you are greeted personally by Tolis and Marinela (the hosts) who are the embodiment of authentic Greek hospitality and “filotimo”. To understand what i mean, my wife complimented Marinela on the beautiful room amd she had tears in her eyes for the appreciation of a stranger for all the work she had put together.
If you are visiting Corfos to explore the island, you will want a central location in center of island. My wife and I booked a room in Cavos, the most southern part of the island. Corfos is very big and takes 1 hour from one end to another. Cavos is a party hub for roudy, alcohol British teenagers. Again not something we knew.
So upon arriving we rebooked at Aristotelis apartments and what a complete contrast of an experience. Upon reflection, it totally transformer our experience of the island.
We rented a scooter (the villa has ample parking) and our apartment became our base for daily and evening adventures. The perfect location for exploring this incredible island.
Corfos itself has become my favorite island, and growing up in Greece for 18 years this says a lot. Its rich history of being under Venetian rule for 400 years, British Protectorate for 100 years and Roman before that. Its breathtaking natural terrain, the clifs of the Canal d’mour, the bays of Paleokastrita. And don’t worry if you havent researched all this (neither did we) Marinela and Aristotelis will be happy to tell you where to visit and have individualized..."
