"Pros: The location is amazing. Super close to the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum as well as the Plaka neighborhood which has tons of dining options. The food provided for breakfast was great. It was super convenient and easy to reorder whatever we needed- which was provided seemlessly. It was wonderful having a washing machine to wash our clothes and our stuff dried quickly on the balcony. There was more than enough room for the 4 of us for sleeping. It's always cool to stay in an apartment versus a hotel and get a better feel how people from Greece might live- as opposed to only what a tourist might see in a hotel. there is also an incredible view of the Acropolis from the roof. I had thought it was from the room- but the roof was great and no one else was up there. kinda cool going up to the roof. Cons: I didn't NOT like anything- but a couple of things to be aware of. You have to turn on a switch for the hot water- which isn't a big deal at all- and I'm sure after turning it on for the recommended 20-30 minutes- it would be fine for two people. Since there were four of us, we had to turn it back on after 2 of us would take a shower. Not a big deal at all- but something to be aware of. The bathroom is also small- which isn't a big deal either- but the ceiling is also low- so when you're standing in the tub- it's a little tight for someone who is tall. Our son is 6'6" so a little uncomfortable for him. There was a little confusion from me on the door locking as well. The instructions were very clear to turn the key to hear the lock click twice- but my husband had only done it once- and when I corrected it- I turned it the wrong way. It's hard to check because the door also locks by itself. I probably unintentionally irritated the host- so my only recommendation is to maybe put a sign over the handle to show an arrow of which way you need to make sure you turn it twice- to avoid similar confusions. The hallway is a little dark so if you're arriving at night- you might need the flashlight on your phone to see the lock." ~Lana
