"Pros: Great hosts, full refrigerator with food and beverage for breakfast, very comfortable, great traditional decoration, exceptional fireplace, very warm, walking 15-minute distance from the lake, exceptional view, felt like home. We had a car issue and the hosts did everything in their power and beyond to help us, they even had mechanics from a near village to come on a saturday evening to take a look! "Pros: I would give this property more than a 10 if I could. EVERYTHING was thought out. This older couple has something going on. My cottage was immaculate, and I cannot say enough good things about it. The kitchen had everything you need; there was even a storage container for the lunch meat and cheese they supply. How thoughtful is that; not many people think to bring Tupperware. I do now, because I travel so much, but the fact that this was even thought of was great. There were no cleaning supplies in the apartment except dish soap. So many places leave the supplies as if to imply you should clean the room. I find that to be tacky; they did not do this; implying that they will clean it when you leave. Every Towel and sheet was embossed with "En Feneo". I saw the woman wiping everyone's patio tables early one morning. The marble step up to the bed was such a treat. Even though this was rural it had great internet, and the TV worked. Funny how the TV worked in Mesino but not in Athens....what is that about? When I paid the old man and I sat down at his kitchen table, and he made me a receipt; It was so real. The backdrop against the mountains, just WOW. Cons: It is not possible to say anything bad about this property; clearly this couple has been doing this for a long time and enjoys what they do; as they should as it was the most comfortable and relaxing place on earth. out of the 68 properties I have reviewed on Booking over the last decade, this one has been the best." ~Angela
