"Pros: Our stay at fos villa was truly fantastic! The property itself is stunning and has been finished to such a high standard – every detail has clearly been thought out. The rooms were well equipped, spacious, modern designed, and everywhere was perfectly clean. The villa was only a short 20 miun bus ride or 10/15 min taxi into the Old Town, which had plenty of great restaurants and bars with lovely views over the water. There are also several beaches in walking distance, but the villa's pool and loungers were so great it was hard to escape from them!
What really set this stay apart, though, were the hosts Kostas and Christina. From the moment we arrived, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They were incredibly welcoming and we were greeted with thoughtful treats and food on arrival (fresh pastries, water, tea, coffee pods etc.), which was such a lovely touch after a long journey. They even took the time to drive us to the local shop the next day and offered to help us with anything we needed during our time in Crete. They also provided so many great recommendations for food, drink and activities to do. Their kindness and attention to detail made everything extra special.
It’s rare to find a place where both the accommodation and the hospitality are so outstanding, but this villa and its wonderful hosts exceeded all expectations. If you’re looking for the perfect getaway with hosts who can’t do enough for you, then this is the place! We can't reccomend it highly enough."
