"Pros: The guest house is surrounded by a tranquil garden with tables to sit at, and the building itself is an interesting piece of architecture, making it pleasant to spend time there. The breakfast and other food were excellent. The staff were very helpful. Cons: Some things were not working. There was no water for washing much of the time so buckets were provided. The bedside lights didn't work. The internet signal in the bedroom was weak and only just usable." ~Peter

"Pros: Spotless. Staff extremely helpful. In fact the whole community. Walking up the hill with our backpacks, a neighbor noticing how exhausted my brother was, came and took the heavier of the two bags from him and walked us right to the property without looking around for money. I liked that the pillows were not smelling of stale sweat as some of the more expensive places I had stayed and at the end of a long day and also that I could relax with dinner and a beer from right there in the community. I felt it was the right thing to do - to spend a few dollars within the community that was so welcoming and protective. Cons: The erratic internet seems to be a feature of the entire area. We experienced it elsewhere where we had stayed." ~Chris
