"Pros: Everything!! The welcoming host who is also very good in English :) :). The house was amply spacious for 6 people including 2 kids. The kitchen was very well equipped. Location was nice and safe amidst residential area. The host allowed us a late check out and checkin process was also very smooth. A huge super market Rewa was around the corner which was open till 10 PM ( again was a happy shocker for us in German context :). Overall hugely satisfied. Cons: One small point of improvement. The beds in the first room and kids room made noise while turning sides. May be worth a look." ~Abhrasnata

"Pros: The appartment was clean, tidy, modern and had everything we needed. Location was fine with friendly helpful residents. Local bus service was 5 minutes walk away and free with the tourist card (supplied when paying the tourist tax). Wernigerode is a nice town, we had plenty of rides on the HSB steam railway which shouldn't be missed, visited the miniature museum and the aircraft museum and again got discount with the tourist card. Definitely will be back. Cons: 5 flights up was a bit of a struggle for the elderly member of our group, but the views from the top where a plus. So not really something that would stop us going again. We did need the emergency phone contact as we had a struggle, with a local Taxi driverr helping, to find the keys as we arrived late. Unfortunately no one answered which is a bit of a problem for an emergency contact." ~Graham

"Pros: The apartment is well designed, the bed was mega comfortable and huge. The are nearby is perfect for walking with the dogs. You need a car to go to the center but it is quite and comfortable. Cons: I missed some curtains that can block the light in the morning. The ones they had were white, and one was missing in the main room. I had to call the owner to get the code. I can defend myself in German but it might be that he speaks English. He was nice!" ~Irene
