Cons: Bathroom: The shower knob was sensitive to touch, causing the water temperature to change from hot to cold with even a slight adjustment, and the bathroom light would turn off randomly."

"Pros: I had a great stay here! The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with a private bathroom that was fully tiled and nicely designed. There was also a large TV, a desk, colorful curtains, two closets, and even a fridge, which was perfect for keeping my beers cold.
The neighborhood is peaceful, which I really appreciated as a solo traveler, as you almost don´t hear cars passing, and the loudest thing was the crows in the morning, which I really love. Honestly, I don’t understand the negative reviews. For the price and location, it’s more than fair. You're just one tram ride (about 15 minutes) from Alexanderplatz, which makes getting to the city center super easy and convenient. They have laundry, smoking area, and shared kitchen even if you want to cook, which I don´t usually do. I am into Kebaps when I am in Berlin and it's mostly all I eat, plus a few other things. I could warm up my breakfast in the microwave easily.
I stayed for a full week without any issues. Having KFC and Burger King within walking distance was a plus, and the area offered a lot of privacy, which was perfect for writing and working in peace. I also recommend visiting the Planetarium nearby, and if you have time, head to Berlin Pankow and check out a Mexican restaurant called La Paz. Amazing food and service.
Yes, the place can get very quiet, which I personally enjoyed. But if you're someone who feels uneasy in stillness, it might not be the right fit for you. I was provided with a towel, soap, and shampoo, although I always bring my own. If you're an experienced traveler, this won’t be an issue. At this price point, expecting full hotel-style service isn’t realistic.
There’s also a beverage machine, which was a nice touch for late-night drinks at very reasonable prices.
In short: safe, clean, private, and well-located. If you're a practical traveler who values peace and affordability, don’t be discouraged by the negative reviews.
Cons: Maybe a better pillow would have been great, and a fan for the heat of the summer, but it was manageable anyway if you open the windows. Other than that, everything was great."
