"Pros: Wonderful location, well maintained gardens. Exudes peace and relaxation. Interesting layout in the property, full of nooks and crannies, quite quirky. Plenty of spa and relaxation areas where you can quietly sit and read (good selection of books) or just relax. Most likely better in summer when you can also relax next to the outdoor pool where most of the loungers are. Bedrooms comfortable, well furnished with pleasant outlook from the balcony. Good catering at the Villa restaurant for breakfast and dinner and in the bar. Although the dinner menu was a little disappointing (cheese for starters and dessert). The spa treatments were good and imagine that the yoga and other offers would be too but didn’t stay long enough to try them all. Easy parking on site. All in all an excellent stay. Cons: Nothing really. Had to wait at reception for check in and check out though not massively long. Changing facilities in the spa very small. Had to change in the hallway and make room for people passing." ~Sarah
