Super cute and loved the easy walk to dinner at Fish & Blue was another special find. Highly recommend both our stay and dinner at Fish & Blue. "Pros: We were 2 couples and flipped a coin for the upstairs bed which was up a steep set of narrow stairs that was dangerous in the dark. A shared kitchen with another bungalow was not what we expected. But the kayaks and stay was nice for a night. Cons: Would have been nice w 2 baths so upstairs didn't have e to use steep narrow, slippery stairs at night. Would be dangerous for older people." ~Michael

"Pros: Fabrice was an awesome host and staying at the house felt very authentic. As for all of Raiatea, it is important to know that you should rent a car as otherwise you would not be able to really enjoy the island. Since the house does not have walls or air conditioning, of course, there are mosquitoes and it can get very hot during the day. But this is clearly laid out in the description of the accommodation and I would consider this being part of the experience. There are multiple fans in the house. Make sure to bring and put insect repellent. Cons: The army of roosters in the neighborhood holding their nightly crowing competition from 1 am to 5 am :-) Earplugs or noise canceling headphones are highly recommended." ~Ulrich

"Pros: The location was perfect for kayaking and snorkeling. It was wonderful to have our own private beach and entrance to the water. The family that helps on the property was also super nice and extremely accommodating to anything we needed. Cons: There were some cockroaches in the bathroom at night but that was because the drain cover just needed to be put back properly and I wish there were better screens on the roofline as there were a lot of mosquitos." ~Heidi
