"Pros: I didn't want to leave a review, because I would like this place to be my secret, but that wouldn't be fair to the hosts. This is the kind of place you could imagine Hemmngway writing a novel. It's not for you twee Instagramers. Influencers, stay away! This house has bucket fulls of character there is art in every corner. The giant marlin and tuna sculptures are wonderful. Then , to top it all, you have the turquoise lagoon with lovely snorkeling on your doorstep. Oh, did I mention, the sunsets are jawdropping. If soulless hotels are not your thing. Try Chalet Avea. Huahine is a beautiful island and this is a perfect corner of it." ~Peter

"Pros: This is a fantastic place. Right on the beach.. very calm and picturesque. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen and terrace are great for lounging around. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. There are great cheap cafes within an easy walking distance. The best part though are the people who run this place. Crystal and Enot are super helpful and make sure you have everything you need. Highly recommend" ~Inessa
