"Pros: Excellent location - 10 min walk along the beach to town and less than 5 mins to the beach. Very comfy bed and spacious apartment. Bernard was lovely and even lent us snorkeling gear as we hadn't brought any and there was no where to rent it. and helping us arrange transfer to airport etc. Huahaine is magnificent and we would go back again and stay here in a heartbeat. Cons: Outside the apartment was a little bit mosquitoey so just be mindful of closing the door etc (coils etc are provided)." ~Kate

"Pros: Very close walk to the beach and the town of Fare. The owners were lovely, making good suggestions on what to see. The bathroom was separated from the bedroom by a patio, and was very, very nicely designed and decorated. Cons: The room was compact. With the bed against a wall, it was difficult for one of two persons to access." ~Alex

"Pros: Fantastic location with everything you could need and very private. About 300m to the beach and an easy 10 minute walk into Fare for dinner or supplies at the huge Super U supermarket. Europecar hire car 200m away was an added bonus. We hired a car for 2 days, which was enough. The coral gardens area is not to be missed for snorkling, even though much of the coral is dead. The Yacht Club isn't really a yacht club like some might imagine, but a lovely little cafe/restaurant right on the water's edge and the perfect spot for a bite to eat or a drink. We loved our stay and would happily return to Mili Miki House. Cons: Wifi and therefore the TV was a bit hit and miss at times. This was not the owners' fault as a high speed cable had been installed. The owner was lovely and turned the router on/off which got it going again. We travelled in the wet season and unfortunately had 2 days of torrential rain and cloud. This affected the hot water on our last day only as it it likely runs off solar like most properties in French Polynesia." ~Aileen

"Pros: Everything. Great location, 100m from Fare Beach, 5 min walk to “centre” (Huahine Yacht Club and surprisingly very large - but bit expensive- SuperU supermarket, only one on island), wonderful cottage/house with all new interior, great a/c in all rooms, and everyone needed (fridge, freezer oven/stove, microwave, all utensils and washing machine!). Wonderful place and great host Jaël from whom we also rented good car at fair price and easy pickup/dropoff at airport. We would highly recommend this place and definitely choose again if/when returning to the island. Also far less mosquitoes than at nearby hotel. Cons: Nothing!!" ~Ralf
