"Pros: The location is fantastic. It is so close to everything but far away enough from the late night street noise. We highly recommend this place if good location is what you’re looking for. Cons: The bed is very small and uncomfortable. It’s only a double and dips in the middle. My partner had to go and sleep on the couch as it felt like we were sleeping on top of each other. The staircase going up is quite tight so can be tricky if you have very big luggage. But it’s not that many stairs. The front door has a huge gap underneath so a lot of the noise from the staircase comes into the property. But this is not a significant problem as when you close the bedroom door, it dampens a lot of the noise. The property is missing any sort of personal touch. It feels quite cold and uncomfortable." ~Daniel

"Pros: Beautiful view looking out at part of the Main Street and the church. Clean and well prepared. It gets cozy upstairs but it is good for a simple night stay with your friend or partner. Kitchen and living are are more spacious and very clean. Cons: Gets stuffy/warm in the bedroom, sense it is upstairs. A fan is provided and window can be opened but beware of mosquitoes. Stairs are very steep. Not good for those with physical disabilities or older in age. I’m 5’ and I’m inches away from my head touching the ceiling on the stairs. So if you’re average/taller then look out!" ~Chloe

"Pros: The location was perfect - walking distance from the main train stations (less than 10 minutes on foot to both of them), with the main square, Opera house and the bakeries, cafes and restaurants all within few minutes walk. The beds were comfortable, we had a fridge and a kitchen to use, hair dryer, towels, shampoos etc. Everything was available, from Wi-Fi to kettles 😄 We stayed for a few days during the Olympics and we had a one day trip to Paris and the fact that the station was so close to the appartment helped a lot. Staff was friendly and gave us all the info we needed in advance and we had no issues whatsoever during our stay but they told us we can contact them if we need anything. Great communication with them and If I ever come back to Lille, I will choose this place again. Cons: Not the staff's fault but there were a lot of mosquitoes as it was very hot and they flew inside when we opened the window. Talked to the staff about it and they made sure they will try to fix that issue with some window protectors in the future. Also, the stairs are steep - I did not have an issue with that, but if you have some health issues (knees, back...) you might find it exhausting. Otherwise, all good." ~Đorđe
