"Pros: Turku is a brilliant city for anyone looking to experience something completely new. Almost all Finns speak English nowadays. There are plenty of opportunities to explore beyond the city as well, with Ruissalo being our personal favourite. We strongly recommend visiting Turku for at least a week in your life. The apartment we stayed in was the best-finished accommodation we've ever experienced – far superior to dozens of places we've stayed in Germany and Austria. Thumbs up to the owner! Cons: We didn't immediately figure out how to use the washing machine. We then followed the water flow towards it. It's on the bathroom tap. The cushions to sleep on are not exactly soft.
