"Pros: This was a very comfortable, basic apartment suitable for a single traveller or couple wanting to visit Turku or use Turku as a base to explore the region. I would recommend this apartment to any traveller and would book this again. The apartment is fitted out with all necessities, a nice kitchen area for preparing meals, it is in open plan layout, comfortable seating to relax in the evening, nice TV that can play back movies from USB, and comfortable double bed. There is a clean, spacious toilet and shower room suitable for 1 - 2 people. The location is excellent, small stores for food shopping are located nearby, the area is clean and quiet, small parks are also nearby and it is a very pleasant walk to the city centre and Aura river through the nearby Samppalinna park. City bikes are also available within a 100 m (check out the Donkey Republic app, excellent value rates) and Kupittaa railway station (for travelling to from Helsinki, approx. 2 hours) is located about 2 km away on a direct route that goes past the lovely open air Luostarinmaki Museum Quater (about 600 m away). The lovely Ispoinen beach (with public sauna) is located only 4 km away through quiet neighbourhoods. This is a bike friendly area, provisions are there for cycling, wide paths and cycle lanes. Cons: Nothing to dislike. Some temporary site works are in front of the apartment building but there is no work or noise during the weekend." ~Brendan
