"Pros: I love guesthouses like this, owned by a small local family business in the Finnish countryside. Idyllic lakeside location, wood-fired sauna, fireplace, terrace. Despite the fact that the cottage is not brand new, you can see that the owners take good care of it, so that the guests have everything they need for their stay.
Cons: A somehow unpleasant surprise for the children in the morning was three wasps on the window in the living room. Maybe they have a nest somewhere in the attic and are gradually coming into the house from there, I don't know. The owners may pay attention to this, even though it is not in their direct control :)"

"Pros: A nice house near a small lake (small by Finnish standards that is). Everything was great, we didn't feel like something was missing. The owner is nice and easy to contact. I couldn't find the plug for the drain hole of the boat, so not wishing to bother the owner I used a cork from a bottle of wine, which fits perfectly well. But better to ask the owner I guess :-)"
