"Pros: We only took this Cottage for one night as we were traveling up Finland from Kitee to Inari. We were a little late on the road and there was excellent contact, response and very friendly exchange by message with the owner. when we arrived late at night everything was perfect. This Cottage is a dream come true. Really sad that we didn't stay longer than one night. One thing is sure, we will be back for longer. The cottage is really beautiful and comfortable!! 42km north of Kuusamo, Ruka 20km, Kitkajoki river 30m, shallow sandy/mud bottom beach. Apartment in log-built semi-detached house, built in 1987, sleeping corner: convertible bed, loft (room to stand): 2 beds, 2 mattresses, combined kitchen/living room, electric sauna. Semi-detached house, situated on Kitkajoki river. Other apartment in the same building is 9172 Ahven. Situated close to another semi-detached house and owner's house. Near Käylä village. Barbecue hut in shared use.
Additional equipment: Water kettle. Baby cot and high chair on request. Rowing boat.
Other distances: Oulanka National Park / Pieni Karhunkierros Trail 15km, Riisitunturi Fell 30km.
Additional information: Shelter with fire place in joined use. Only one pet allowed in apartment. Illuminated ski track (lenght 2.5 km), connecting also to 10 km ski track.
Reservations start at 16.00 and end at 12.00 (also in weekend bookings).
