"Pros: A very spacious, clean appartment. Everything there that you need, incl. parking. Sauna was very nice. Directly on a lake, unfortunately no snow shoes to run on it.
Cons: The host was very friendly but not particularly helpful when asked for activity advice.
The appartment is located a tad too far from anything of interest, but conveniently close to the Ranua Zoo."

Cons: I needed assistance each time to unlock the door to access my room because the lock stuck and required a hip bump.
My sleep was briefly interrupted when neighbors came to their rooms 2:30 am."

Apartment is located in center of Ranua, end apartment in a wooden row house built in 2015. In living room kitchen convertible sofa bed, bedroom with 2 beds, electric sauna oven in the sauna, shower room / wc, 2 terraces and a carport.
Nice apartment in a quiet location, close to the services of Ranua center. No private swimming shore, but lake views from the terrace. Location in the same yard with two small row houses.
Shops and restaurants are located 1 - 1.5 km, Ranua Wildlife Zoo 4 km. Ranuan hillamarkkinat (cloudberry festival) yearly at the beginning of August in Ranua.
By separate payment rowing boat and lakeside sauna available on Kuukasjärvi in distance of about 20 km. The payment will be paid to the caretaker on the spot if you want to use this separate place 20 km away.
