"Pros: Amazing host and a wonderful location. Dogs are more than welcome and our doggies loved the company of the two residential ones. Rachel tailors the stay to the needs and wishes of her guests and canoe, sauna and even a hot tub are available on request for a small fee.
Next to Nuuksio National Park and Nuuksio Lake the location offers everything a nature lover would want from swimming, canoeing, mushrooming and hiking. The cottage itself combines camping and comfort in true glamping style. We for sure will be back – our only regret is that we stayed only for one night on the way up North. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

"Pros: My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay (7 nights) at Poppelstrand. Rachel gave us plenty of great hiking recommendations, and was so kind and helpful throughout our stay. The location is excellent - super close to the bus stop (allowing us to easily go to the national park and to Espoo for groceries) and only a few minutes' walk from a nature reserve. This was a wonderfully calming stay. We would love to come back in the winter. Merci, Rachel! :-)"

"Pros: The house was spacious for our two families traveling together, the kitchen was well stocked, and the kids loved all of the extras like badminton and the park next door.
Cons: The beds upstairs were a little small for two adults to share. Bigger beds would be nice. We also couldn’t find any dish towels in the kitchen, only the one that was left out."
