"Pros: Location was 2km walk to town centre. Sauna okay. Warming cabinet for ski clothes. Cons: No WIFI when in 2025 everybody expects WIFI - particularly international guests who don't have a European sim card. Apparently no WIFI was in the "fine print" advised the property manager who provided absolutely no assistance! So, it was my fault that this property was the only property I have stayed in over the last 5 years at least that didn't have WIFI because I didn't read every single line of fine print. I was also required to pick up the keys to the property 2km from the property itself. With very few taxis and extortionate fares in any case this meant I had to drag suitcase 2km through the snow upon arrival. Had to stay an extra night in Kittila as couldn't take the chance of arriving late at night in potential minus 30 degrees temperatures and then have an issue with the key. I also felt quite alienated and quite unwelcome in this property because I wasn't Finnish and didn't speak the language and therefore didn't understand the many handwritten notes in Finnish. Finally the two single beds were a disgrace due to the fact that the mattresses were thin and continually slid off the bedframe. I went to bed each night worried that I was going to fall off the bed!" ~Shayne
