"Pros: - It was close enough to shops and restaurants ~10mins walk
- AC and the fans worked well
- the kitchen is small but equipped sufficiently
- spacious and loads or storage space
Cons: - the kitchen and the bathroom were disgustingly dirty when we arrived, as if they haven’t been cleaned after previous occupants, who by the state of things left weeks ago
- very dusty and dirty floors in the entire apartment
- the sheets were not changed, we found crumbs and stains and had to wash everything
- when we let the owner know about the state of things there was no solutions offered, only excuses about how Egyptians are
- the water from the taps was brown and the shower water quality was barely acceptable
- the neighbours were banging on doors, children screaming at around 8pm and wouldn’t stop for hours every day.
- the building is surrounded by a lot of trash and stray dogs
- owner was delayed with most responses and since she’s not in Egypt she was unhelpful with our questions. Check in was done with an Egyptian guy who doesn’t speak English, owner still hasn’t responded to my question about check out 36hrs after we’ve left" ~Alexandra
"Pros: They waited for us and check-in went quickly. There is everything you need for self-cooking. It was a little noisy at night in the living room due to the noise from outside. The regular beach is 15 minutes on foot. For snorkeling or diving, it is better to go to the lagoon. located 18 km from the city to the north" ~Aleksandr
