"Pros: Incredible experience of a lifetime. All other groups were 10-15-20 people in size. We saw only 2 or 3 other small groups on the various sites we visited. I highly recommend a private tour on this journey otherwise you will not be able to get the full experience. Every city had their own guide and in every temple / location or activity we had tailored assistance, we never felt rushed or like we had to wait on others / move with a large group. Please, unless you need to save money or know a lot about egyptian history already, avoid the larger group tours and book this one. The only downside was some of the accents from 1-2 guides was a bit difficult at times to understand- but they made up for it with their patience in repeating themselves and showing their hospitality. Mr. Sayed answered me via whatsapp within minutes whenever we had questions or requests. We even could choose our pickup times or preferences. Complimentary water and drinks were offered on every sightseeing tour. Tipping is expected everywhere in Egypt, but this tour made you feel like the people showing you around were experts and also genuine, they went the extra mile to help and make us feel welcome and comfortable. All in all, we learned a lot about the culture and history and saw so many different aspects of Egypt, within a record time. Highly recommended and will book soon for another itinerary with Mr. Sayed !!
Cons: Sellers were very aggressive and the street kids were annoying with begging, you could tell they weren’t deprived but just wanted money. Unfortunately a very common issue in Egypt, not really tour related. But you do have to be mindful and never accept gifts or pictures or any items. Otherwise you will be expected to pay/tip the hagglers."

"Pros: The staff were helpful and friendly.
Cons: More communication is needed with guests especially for those that try to find the boat on their own as they are rafted 4 deep and there are 20. WhatsApping someone in Cairo questions is useless when the boat is 800 km south. They also really need to advise ahead of time about the times of the tours and the costs. I was expecting this high cost but only due to one comment someone else made in a review. Be aware that the tours will cost more than the cruise. . Also we missed one tour as it required you to wake at 3am and be in a bus for 6 hours. . Another was 5am. Would the 4 day version of the cruise have a better itinerary? Who knows. The boat was dated and the food while good needed more variety. Also we were the only English speaking guests on the ship. This wasn't bad but it did mean there was little interaction with the other guests."
