"Pros: I love that it was right on the beach: loved listening to the surf at night, lulling you to sleep. Cons: This is really nothing to do with the property, but something to be aware of that. The beach is public in front of the property. There are a lot of feral dogs wandering along the beach and I got attacked twice. Once in the morning when they were very few people about ; the feral dog bared its teeth and jumped at me. I did nothing to provoke it. I was just walking. It shook me up quite a bit. I did let the proprietor know. The second time it happened. It was very busy and I was lucky that one of the Egyptian locals fought off the dog on my behalf. However, it then went to attack another dog and literally went for the jugular of this dog, and it was very upsetting for me to see that kind of violence. I know that is nature, but I was unprepared. Just be aware that when you are walking, have a stick handy that you can fend off any feral dogs that come to attack you. ( this is the advice one of the locals gave me.)" ~Monika
