"Pros: The location was very excellent and easy to get to! You feel very safe walking around even at night. There are lovely cafes around the corner where you can find breakfast and good restaurants too. The rooms were very spacious and clean, nicely decorated with AC in every room that works! The vibe was very comfortable and relaxing, I truly loved staying here and would not mind returning! Cons: The bathrooms could have been cleaner, there was cigarette butts in the shower and hair filling the drain that did not look nice. Also, the shower pressure and temperature did not work in the bugger bathroom, but worked in the smaller bathroom." ~Hira

"Pros: A wonderful place to stay. For me, it was a gem of a place. Great location, acres of space, 3 large bedrooms, double bed in each. Enormous living area. Its not a hotel, but it feels like a home. I loved it. I highly recommend it. We used Uber to get around the city from this hub location. Restaurants and shops in walking distance. Easy going locals and neighbours. An amazing view over the river. I was struggling with the chaos and pressure of Giza. However, Zamalek, and staying at this apartment got me really into Cairo. What it is, who the people are, and how i can fit in and around the place. Staying here made me look forward to coming back to Cairo. Cons: I loved it." ~Mark

"Pros: We had a very nice stay here for several days. The flat is beautifully furnished in quite an arty, bohemian style. It was clean and had everything we needed for our visit. We felt safe and secure throughout. The owner was helpful and responded very quickly to any questions we had. The flat was a relaxing place to return to after sightseeing. Zamalek is a pleasant, leafy part of Cairo with lots of nice shops and cafes. You can walk around easily without any hassle making this a perfect place to stay as a tourist. Anywhere in the city is easily accessible using Uber. Cons: The flat does not have much natural light but this is due to how it is situated and didn’t really trouble us." ~Richard

"Pros: Very neat and tasteful apartment - well equipped kitchen, big living room, large dining table, with some games provided to be played as a family. Owner / Caretaker are both very responsive and cooperative Mohammed, the caretaker/watchman from ground floor who took our luggage up and was always there for any support is a big plus point. Cons: It was a little difficult for us to locate the apartment since the numbers are not written clearly on the buildings. This apartment is part of a building with a big wide black door - probably should help you identify this and this is right in front of two to three small shops (a mini market too). Luckily for us we had taken a local taxi and the driver helped us by inquiring. The apartment is also on the second floor and there is no elevator :-(" ~Prashanth
