I had breakfast on the roof terrace, where a nice view opened to Agha Khan Mausoleum, the Botanical (Kitchener) Island and the elephant-shaped rocks along the banks.
The house is on the west side of the island, while public ferry from the mainland arrives on the eastern side, from where the accommodation can be reached by a ten to fifteen minutes' walk.
Cons: Location was hard to find, I asked locals who could not understand English at all. Eventually I found one who phoned him, then Sa'eed turned up and led me there."

Very clean, aircon works perfectly. The public ferry is not far like 7 min walk and online cost like 10 Egyptian pounds
Cons: The only thing is that we didn't have hot water and we need to shower on another toilet but apart from that everything was perfect."
