Centrally located in Dakhla Oasis in New Valley, Shandalodge Hotel offers air-conditioned rooms with a private balcony that overlooks the hills. It features an outdoor pool, 2 restaurants and a spa. Wi-Fi is available in all areas. All rooms boast a traditional décor which includes rustic, wooden furniture and stone architecture. Each room is equipped with a seating area, a minibar and an electric kettle. The bathroom includes a rainfall shower or a bath. Regional specialties such as shawarmas and falafel prepared with fresh ingredients are served in the hotel’s restaurant. Guests can enjoy the view from Sunset Cafeteria which is situated down the hill while indulging on a burger. A group of experts at Shandalodge arrange local excursion tours and specializes in Camel trekking trips. A variety of desert recreational activities can also be arranged. During the week, different shows are performed by the entertainment staff. El Kharga Airport is 200 km away from Shanda Lodge Desert Resort. Cairo city, with its restaurants and vibrant districts is 750 km by car. An airport shuttle is available upon request.
