"Pros: The room was good enough for our 1 night in Abu Simbel. A/C worked well. We were served a lovely breakfast on our balcony by our host, Ramadan. The big story here is our host - Ramadan. He couldn't do enough for us! He personally chauffeured us from the airport, to and from the temples, to and from dinner, and finally back to the airport, all for free! No one has ever done so much for their guests. thank you Ramadan! Cons: Room was good enough. Like many places in Egypt there are few options between $100 and $300 per night. "Pros: It looks just like the pictures and is clean with good hot water. Ahmed is willing to drive you wherever you need to go free of charge. If you are nervous and feel like you need or want a guide this is the perfect place for you. Ahmed was kind to tell us about the temples. The welcome drinks were nice. Cons: Althouh Ahmed was very nice, we felt like there was a lot of pressure to frequent the places he thought we should go. "Pros: Everything. It is a simple small guesthouse in a quiet location facing the Nile. The best thing is the owner Adel, who helped us with everything: transportation from and back to Aswan, where to go for dinner, and the sunrise boat to the temple. "Pros: We stayed one night at Osiris Guest House to visit the temple Abu Simbel. The host Ashraf is very welcoming and accommodating. We got a home cooked dinner, which was absolutely delicious. The rooms were small but the cleanest we stayed in during our Egypt trip. The guest house is in walking distance to the temple and Ashraf accompanied us to the ticket office in the morning.
