"Pros: We wanted a hotel in between the Historic District and La Carolina so it was perfectly located. The room was kept clean and comfortable with maid service every day. It had a very comfortable King bed and a big screen smart TV. It also had a sitting room with a table and nice chairs. It had a great shower with an overhead and hand held shower wand which is rare. Cons: We choose this hotel for its location and that it had a bar and restaurant. Our first night there we decided to eat at the hotel restaurant. We ordered a couple of drinks that were fine. We ordered an appetizer which was okay but it didn't include what was on the menu. Then we ordered a filet mignon which was literally inedible. The manager who spoke some English finally agreed and offered us anything else on the menu and didn't charge us for the main entre. We had a chicken cutlet parm which was okay. So not a good start. We dared not try anything else so we can't say if anything else on the menu was good or bad. It's a beautiful dining room Complementary breakfast was included with our stay which we took advantage of every morning. Eggs hard boiled and scrambled every day with cold cuts and some kind of bolon and wonderful bread, fruit, tiny croissants. So, pretty good . But I like my coffee hot which I could not get either from the very nice coffee machine that made wonderful espresso nor the carafe, it was just warm. The eggs were also just warm at best. If that doesn't bother you than you will be happy with the breakfast provided." ~Christopher
