"Pros: Really liked this place, and it’s only two blocks from a ton of activity at Fosch Plaza, yet it’s very quiet and peaceful at the hostel. We were there in mid March, which I guess is winter season, so the hostel was pretty empty. But it was a wonderful building and well set up. Really liked the husband and wife staff that ran the place, and they work great to work with; they provided us a good breakfast every morning, and the food varied a little each day, which was nice. The room was good, decent-sized with good storage, and it had a nice shower with lots of hot water, which has been hit and miss during the South American, 15-city trip I am on. And, the hostel has excellent Wi-Fi! If I ever return to Quito, I would definitely stay here again. Great place. Cons: My only complaint was the room temperature. Perhaps locals are used to room temps in the mid 50’s to 60 degrees, but visiting tourists are not! It was always cold in the room, as there wasn’t any heating, so we spent a lot of time wrapped in blankets on our bed!" ~Russ
