"Pros: The hotel is lovely. It is nicely decorated and there are multiple places to sit comfortably while you are waiting for a transfer or tour pick-up. Our room was very small. We had two, comfy twin beds and the room was nice and warm. It was early January and the temperature was pretty cool at the time that we were there. It was good that they offered a little desk in the room. There was enough space for me to get some work done on a laptop. They have a nice restaurant and a nice, small bar area. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food and service were really good, a bit pricey for Ecuador. The breakfast buffet was really good and they had a lot of options. Everyone at reception spoke English well, they were all very helpful and friendly. Our transfer to Baños was an hour late and the doorman waited with us to make sure that everything was okay. Cons: The room was very small and the stairs leading to the room were narrow. It wasn't easy lugging our large bags up the stairs. Fortunately, we only had to go up 1 flight of stairs. There is an elevator on the newer side of the hotel." ~Jbl
