"Pros: My wife and I always stay at the Balandra when we travel to Manta and we always stay in one of the bungalows. We like having a refrigerator and a safe in our room and the feeling of being in our own separate residence. The breakfast buffet set out every morning in the restaurant is outstanding and all of the employees at the hotel are just the very best people. We love that the hotel pool is kept nice and warm and the hotel grounds are meticulously cared for. It's just a very short walk to Pacifico Mall and to Murcielago Beach for our morning walks along the beach. Cons: The only thing that we wish the hotel would do would be to have air conditioning in the hotel gym. We used the gym for the first time during this latest visit and the gym is incredibly hot to work out in." ~Ken
