"Pros: The location, the experience and the staff were all tremendous. This is a bucket list trip to be in the middle of the amazon, and La Selva ensured that trip was one to remember. A lovely and recently renovated lodge, with wonderful staff who make you feel right at home - in a prime location in the middle of the Amazon off the Napo river. Dont think twice - book this place!
Cons: For such a pricey option, La Selva can comp soft drinks and coffees, these should be included - understood for alcholic beverages. Finally, they could pay slight attention to making the experience that much better - after a walk and hike up the observation deck, they could offer a sundowner. I am a birder so I did not mind, but those who are less interested should be given a drink to enjoy while the rest search for birds."
