"Pros: Fabian and his wife were very friendly, and with broken Spanish and English, we were able to communicate fairly well only resorting to the translator when it was important. Atuntaqui is a beautiful town with an amazing view of Cotachochi, a 5000-meter volcano. It is also centrally located to all of the towns in Ibarra Canton (A UNESCO site) I wanted to visit. Cons: The lights next to the bed didn't work. Also, I am used to having a shared kitchen when I travel so I can fix some meals and have my warm drink at night. That said, there was a hot water kettle in the room, and I bought cream to make my coffee and tea." ~Jefferson
