"Pros: The house is located at a very nice spot with beautiful and typical Dominician nature surrounding it. You can enjoy the sight while sitting on the terrace in a rocking chair. The house itself is very spacious (for 2 persons) and well equipped. One of the hosts is living next door with her family and they were very friendly, welcoming and always offered a helping hand. Typical Dominican breakfast can be provided. Cons: At the time of our reservation the description stated that accomodation ist located close to the beach and that the beach is at 700m distance. The accomodation is not close to the beach and in order to get to the beaches in El Macao or Uvero Alto a car or other transportation is required (approximately 15 min Drive). As we did not have our own vehicule we were not able to get to any destination by ourselves. Our host then organized transportation for us (some of which we had to pay for) It is recommendable to have your own car. If not you should be alright with Not being as flexible and spending time on organising and communicating about transportation." ~Mandy
