"Pros: Nice contemporary decoration Cons: No instructions for how to use anything! Fine if Danish and all fittings are standard Danish fittings. Are they? To anyone from further afield, they may as well have come from Mars. Having been ill for 3 days which was clearly not the responsibility of the landlord, manager or booking.com as I emphatically made clear to them, I asked how to use the cooker. Unfortunately I was greeted as an idiot and accused of claiming 'everything was broken'. As a follow-up, at 09.50, when I left the apartment at 09.58(!), the landlord sent a message saying 'It’s both disappointing and frustrating that the guest did not follow our instructions. Actually what I had requested, initially from landlord/management company but then via booking.com, was ONLY instructions as to HOW to use the cooker! Having not eaten in 4 days, I was hungry! The landlord went on to say, 'Everything is functioning as it should; at 09.50(?), when I had not left until after then?' Personally I had never suggested it was not ill-functioning; just that I did not know how to use it. He continues, 'The issue was that the guest had activated the child lock, which can be deactivated by pressing it for 10 seconds. No doubt this is true. To this day I would not know which button is the child lock on that particular cooker! 'This situation has cost both Booking.com and us countless hours of work and unpleasant conversations. We sincerely hope you choose a different place for your stay next time you visit the city.' This last sentence is ironic. Only 2.5 hours earlier the landlord had written to me asking me to leave a review speaking of my pleasant experiences and asking for comment regarding improvements he could make for future guests." ~Dr
