"Pros: The location was calm and reasonably well equipped. The sea was not far either. It seemed that this is a loved family summer house, which is regrettebly managed by a renting company, that puts in only bare minimum of work. Cons: The communication surrounding arrival and departure was abmysal. The information required for smooth check-in was barley existent and usually provided in German. One needs to pick up keys 10min drive away and bring them back as well, ideally during office hours, which are only from 10-13 workdays, but you are not allowed in house before 16:00. There is also extra charge for water and electricity, which on website was given in euros, but one was supposed to pay in cash (if dropping key off outside office hours) of this random amount in DKK on the last day at the office or suffer (an undisclosed amount - in our case 50 DKK) penalty to receive an invoice, which was just an email, because "We are not supposed to send invoices". We had trouble finding the water counter, as provided "guidance map" was not precise. Trying to contact the company via chat resulted in advice to go back to the office during the office hours. Luckily, there was another guide (probably provided by the actual owners of the place), which allowed us to find the water counter (it was quite further out in the forest). There was no access to firewood, even though there was a fireplace. On booking page it also says there is no parking available, however there is a car port. One is required to have their own bedding as well as clean afterwards (or pay 950 DKK), but there is not even a proper broom available. We had to do our best with a hand brush. Overall this could have been a very nice stay, if only someone managing this would have put in an a little bit of effort." ~Ruutah
