"Pros: The house is huge and quite lovely. It’s an old country house, it is clean but obviously not spotless. There are spider webs and a little dust around the house, it does not smell bad, just old. My allergies went crazy so bring medication. The roof is quite low so if you are over 6ft you will need to walk very carefully not to hit your head. All the appliances work very well, just remember to bring bed linen and towels and you will be fine. The location is perfect if you don’t want to be around crowded places. "Pros: We had a wonderful stay and loved every single thing. We booked the appartment which had a private bathroom and was very spacious. Our favourite thing was the outdoor terrace which we could enjoy in good weather. The gorgeous garden is very well kept and green, and the highlight of the location. We were there with the car (there is free parking on location) and it was less than a 15 mins ride from Ærøskøbing, although there is also a bus stop right in front. Special note goes to the breakfast which we loved (especially enjoying it on the terrace) as well as how attentive and kind the staff and the owners were. We will definitely return!
