"Pros: The property is in a good location - plenty of restaurants around and a short walk to the beach. There's plenty of space in the property and the beds are comfortable. The property is in good condition, beautiful and fairly well equipped. The management company is excellent. We had a number of issues and they were extremely repsonsive. I would not hesitate to book a La Mer Homes managed property again, however I would not book this particular property again. Cons: Two of the bedrooms are in a basement which was not made clear on the website. Had I have known this I never would have booked this villa. This meant that there was a marble staircase going down from the main room. A glass handrail means a baby gate could not be fitted even if we had one which was dangerous for my 2 year old. Additionally there was no toilet on the ground floor. This property is not suitable for those with young children, or those with mobility issues. The property is North facing and the swimming pool gets 3 hours of sunlight a day (October). This meant that the pool was effectively too cold to use. We were told there is no pool heater, however we did find a switch for one - unused but could have been a solution? During the first week we had to call out maintenance every day - no hot water, dirty pool, broken dishwasher, leaking washing machine. Although La Mer responded and resolved the issues very quickly I wouldn't expect so many issues. There was no house manual so trying to troubleshoot problems like no hot water was guesswork - this was easily resolved - the water pump was switched off but we had no way of knowing this. It would also help to know where to take rubbish etc." ~Sam

"Pros: Great location, clean & well equipped. Very peaceful location but with Kennedy Avenue only a couple of minutes away on foot. Small beach a five minute walk away. Didn’t make the most of the roof terrace although great for capturing sunset. Outside space well kept & relaxing. Georgia was very responsive to any requests. Would definitely stay again. Cons: It would probably spoil the aesthetic but hand rail on stairs would make it perfect." ~Kay
