"Pros: John/Giannis was just exceptional! I was quite busy so I didn't get to talk to him much, but whenever we did get to chat he was nothing but lovely. I can confidently say he was one of, if not the best, part of the stay! I really enjoyed the fact that the studio included so many things (a washing mashine, a microwave, a big fridge, a kettle, an AC unit...) that I would have looked for/wanted. There is a really big and quite cheap supermarket close by, and there seems to be a cafe roght in front (though i am really socially anxious and did not really take advantage of that!) The Host also has a great lemonade that I keep reminiscing about! The street it sits on is adorable, with a lot of local flora scattered through neighbours' gardens. The cons could never outweigh the pros for me! And I can't wait to come back, kf John/Giannis will have me of course ❤️🫒 Cons: The shower situation was a little tricky for me :( The water was not going through the drain fast enough, so I had to deal with a light 'flooding' 😅 Thankfully a mop and a big squeegee were included! There were some works going on, you can unfortunately hear the traffic, and the Church nearby was a bit loud on Sunday, *and* there was an altercation between a group or two outside on I believe Saturday night (which was a little scary as I was just coming back in) so it can be a little loud at times! The downstairs fan looked a little loose, which I kept keeping an eye on as it kept turning back on, and I think as a result of that I kept waking up to paint flakes all over downstairs 😅 The stairs were a little tricky for me as I really needed the support of a bannister for my mental wealth, but I got used to it by the end of it. I just wish there were bigger windows strewn about! It would have been lovely to get some air and sunshine in.💔 Pallouriotissa is quite gorgeous, however do keep in mind that if you're thinking of walking to-and-fro it is a trek! I had to keep going to/crossing Ledra, so it was almost a 40-minute walk for me!" ~Ece

"Pros: Usually I don't write a comprehensive review about a stay. Some apartments did meet my expectations while other experiences were dissappointing in some aspect. However, my time in To Hani Kamera Maisonette was exceptionally great and therefore I will try to explain in detail why. I arrived quite early at the apartment and even before I could contact the host he already greeted me with a smile. He made me feel welcome and at home from the start. He said that the apartment was ready and I could move in right away. The apartment is actually a two floor house. I was truly impressed by the size. From the outside it looks like a beautiful historical building. The blue wooden door gives you the feeling that you entered a special building with great cultural and historic value. It is a representation of the traditional architecture from Cyprus. This style is also seen in the interior with a wooden ceiling, an arch and sandstone tiles. The kitchen is big enough to organize a dinner for at least 6 guests and it is equipped with all the latest modern appliances. On the upper floor you can find the sleeping room and the bathroom. The bed is big and comfortable. I slept really well, partly because of the neighboorhood where the house is situated. Yes, it is near the old town of Nicosia but the area is unique. It doesn't feel like you are in a big city. Rather, due to the types of homes and the residents it looks more like a village (without someone continously checking what you are doing). I also want to point out that the hoise has a blacony with the size of a big room. The host, who I already mentioned above, is really a great person. He is really passionate about Cyprus, Nicosia and will go above and beyond to make your stay a memorable one. And it's not a act. He really wants you to enjoy your time on Cyprus and told me about the history of the island and the people. Amazing guy. Cons: Nothing" ~Z020
