"Pros: The staff was friendly and welcoming. They had already turned on the air conditioning before our arrival, so the apartment was nice and cool when we got there. They also kindly allowed us to check in a bit earlier than the usual time. The apartment was also very clean and tidy. On the fifth day of our stay, we received fresh towels, kitchen cloths, and bed linen, which we really appreciated. Although the studio is small (as clearly stated by the hosts), it was quite functional, especially in terms of storage – for example, there’s a large wardrobe in the bedroom, also enough storage place in the bathroom. The studio is actually a bit more modern than it appears in the photos. The bed was extremely comfortable. There was a drying rack on the balcony for hanging wet clothes, and there were also clotheslines set up in front of the apartment entrance, which was very convenient. The two swimming pools and the shared terraces were excellent – there was always enough shade and space, and we usually had our lunch there since our own balcony got too hot during the day. The balcony itself is lovely and offers a fantastic sea view. The sunsets from there were absolutely stunning. Our car was parked in the shade under a canopy, which was a huge bonus. The surrounding area is peaceful, the beaches are just a 5-minute walk away, and there are several nice beach bars and restaurants nearby with good cocktails. A grocery store is also close by, and Korčula town is only about a 10-minute drive away. There are also two larger supermarkets (Tommy and Plodine) within a 10-minute drive. We also want to highlight how dog-friendly the place is – the hosts welcomed our dog warmly, and there are even wild beaches nearby where dogs can swim. A fantastic destination if you're traveling with a pet. Žrnovska Banja is truly a wonderful place for a vacation – it's peaceful and has beautiful beaches. Cons: There were a lot of stairs (to be exact, there were 101) leading up to our apartment (we were on the top floor). It wasn’t an issue for us personally, but it could be a problem for others, so we want to highlight that. Hot water was frequently lukewarm or even cold, especially in the mornings and early afternoons. The biggest downside for us was the lack of a freezer – not even a small compartment in the fridge. The kitchen isn’t particularly well equipped, so we recommend bringing a few essentials from home if you are planning to cook everyday. The electric stovetop is very slow and outdated – it took 45 minutes just to boil water. If you plan to cook, consider bringing a portable stove, preferably induction. That said, the kitchen did have a microwave and a kettle, a cutting board, a small frying pan and a sufficient number of pots. The studio is quite small, though the hosts were honest about this. The Wi-Fi was occasionally weak, especially during hot afternoons. While the balcony is beautiful, it sadly lacks any shade – after 11 a.m., it was hard to sit outside due to the intense sun." ~Anonymous
