"Pros: The villa is a 15 minute drive to the centre of Zadar and the same to the small town of Nin (Uber also readily available if you’re without a hire car). The location itself is very quiet, but, there are plenty of small supermarkets close by for provisions, and it feels safe at all times. The hosts were excellent. Two ladies greeted us and gave us lots of information prior to arrival, they were just genuinely nice people, happy to help! There were all the usual things you’d like to see in a villa as well as fresh meat and cheese for our arrival. Villa Kate was very clean, plenty big enough for 4 couples, decent size pool and a great outdoor turf area for padel or tennis etc. We would absolutely stay again, and would recommend to anyone. To my mind, Croatia (and Zadar in particular) is still a bit of a hidden gem when compared to the usual Spanish and Portuguese locations. Good value, nice people and some amazing scenery. Cons: There was still a little bit of work to be done on the sports area outside, though it was no concern to us. Still fully useable." ~Josh
