"Pros: close to the old town. small room in a private home - nothing fancy, very basic, but all you need. i was travelling by bike and the owner helped me fixed my tire (he used to work for a bike rental). they all were very friendly. also, the put my drying laundry under the roof to rescue it from the rain. highly appreciated!! "Pros: The one room apartment was self contained with what you need on holiday. We were on the top floor (2nd), accessed via a spiral staircase (above the 1st floor apartment), which was also the access to the roof terrace. Tip: don't bring big sized luggage because you will have to carry it up the spiral staircase! On arrival, the host was pleasant, though I never saw this lady again; an older lady [mother and daughter?] lived in the ground floor apartment, who was very pleasant. Cons: We happened to stay during a hot spell, when the overnight temperature was not below 28 degrees centigrade. In the apartment, it felt a few degrees more. However, to my surprise, I was told that the air conditioning could not be used between 22:00 and 07:00." ~Benr.
