"Pros: It's a perfect location if you have a car AND are ready to drive for 40-90 minutes for a truly nice beach. Of course you can also swim on the nearby beaches (5 min walk to an uncharacteristic one, 7-8 minute drive to some nicer ones such as Bili brig Seline or Seline beach with the sea playground, toilet, bar, and shadows). The flat (the upper store in a big house) itself is quite spacious, clean, and well-equpped. It's fabuolous to have breakfast on the terrace by looking at the bay. The hosts are very kind and diplomatic people, they don't disturb the guests at all. They speak Croatian and some English and some German. When we talked in person, they used Google translate on the phone to tell us exactly what they wanted to say and that totally worked (we did not have any major problems to talk about anyway). A much recommendable place for families of 4-5 people, we loved it! Cons: The nearby road can be pretty noisy, even during the nights (from about 5-6am till midnight), so it's best to close all windows to shield oneself from the noise during sleeptime. Then, with the windows closed, air-conditioning is better switched on, and it works fine. Whe we left the windows open for some nights, a lot of mosquitos came in and proved to be quite a nuisance for the kids, who got bitten 10-15 times, each of them (so, again: it's best to close the windows in the evening, and rather have fresh air coming in only during the day). Ants showed up every other day near the kitchen sink, looking for water and crumbles. To keep them away, it's advisable to clean the kitchen surfaces and store the bread, grapes and similar smelly or ant-attractive food in the plastic boxes which are available in the kitchen cabinet." ~Tom
